Glad We Moved

This sticker, was stuck on the back of a street name sign, yeah, one of those 3" wide, 3ft long jobbies.

Priceless in the wrong hands.

The road in question was one I used to drive down, and walk on with Max when we lived in what is, I suppose, my home town.

I take it there was a high level of theft?

Kat - No worse than any other town. I'm probably being a tad harsh, but it is just the type of little thing that makes a rural move more attractive.

That sign alone probably took 10% off house values.

What was the sign for though? That's the puzzling thing.

I think it was nicked from somewhere else and stuck there for a laugh!

Someone was probably stealing the street signs for recycling and they were trying to prevent that from happening. Locally the municipality had to start using industrial strength plastic manhole covers instead of iron because they were being recycled. People are very entrepreneurial and imaginative at creating an income for themselves.

I'd believe it alright, the weird stuff that used to get nicked back home was insane.

That's just plain crazy. But I guess it happens. Here the stickers on street signs are for local bands that the high school kids are trying to get the word out on.
